Mr. Duck Duck is a highly respectable mallard duck who is not only the father of the famous Little Duck, but is also on the Pond Committee (at the moment trying to get rid of the pigeons, which is harder than it sounds.) He doesn't actually seem to do very much except sit around the pond, reading The Pond Times. Still, this provides a focal point of the day's dicussions with the family.
